Silicomanganese Furnace

Silicomanganese alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron, and a small amount of carbon and other elements is a widely used and high-yield ferroalloy. Manganese silicon alloy is a composite Oxygen scavenger commonly used in steelmaking, as well as a reducing agent for the production of medium and low carbon ferromanganese and the production of metallic manganese by silicothermic method. Manganese silicon alloy is divided into 8 grades according to the content of manganese, silicon and its impurity elements. Its chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of table.

The modern electric submerged arc furnace adopts the fully closed furnace type, and the main equipment is composed of furnace body, low smoke hood, smoke exhaust system, short net, electrode system, hydraulic system, tapping and slag system, furnace bottom cooling system, transformer, high-voltage power supply system, low-voltage electrical automatic control system, monitoring system, mixing system, feeding system, blanking system, distribution system, furnace mouth dust removal system, dry process gas recovery and dust removal system, etc.
