Low Voltage Compensation System

In ferroalloy production, the efficiency and stability of submerged arc furnaces are directly influenced by the system power factor. Traditionally, after a furnace is built and put into operation, the natural power factor is usually only 0.60–0.65. Such a low power factor not only leads to inefficient energy utilization but also restricts the effective output capacity of the furnace.

CHNZBTECH provides an advanced Low Voltage Compensation (L.V. Compensation) System, specially designed to improve the operating power factor of submerged arc furnaces to 0.90–0.95. By raising the power factor, more active power is delivered to the furnace, resulting in significant increases in production output and improved energy efficiency.
